I tend to agree here. I think COP are treating FAR with the respect they deserve, because it appears to me that FAR are (for lack of a better word to describe it business like) blackmailing COP.

FAR knew long before WPL arrived that COP wanted to sell, but did nothing. We all know that and cannot dispute it.

COP suddenly sells and FAR is up in arms. Now, I am not sticking up for COP, but suddenly FAR are complaining (reserving their rights) about not being provided an opportunity to buy something that had been for sale for 6 months at least (if I have read the posts here correctly).

So now we have FAR management running up to COP wanting money because something wasn't done exactly right. Again, no excuses for COP.

BUT!!! If FAR want to be taken seriously, they must stop trying to amicably squeeze money out of COP and take them to court. I am sorry, but I have no respect for the management of FAR at this time, while they play silly games. Reserving your rights is one thing, fighting for them is another. Our management want some free money without having to spend anything to get it. They are not even interested in the Pre-emption, they have stated that, so why would COP even bother?

This to me smells like one of those people who crash into you, suddenly gets a sore neck, but will take a cash payment to avoid the legal hassles...
