Well I disagree. Management own a sheet load of shares. And they would want to keep those shares and increase their value. And management are also employees of the company.
And your also wrong about the employee buy back. That related to an employee share scheme that was closed off. There would still be staff that own shares who bought them privately.
And don't forget the business vendors. They were paid in cash and shares. And those shares for most are still held in escrow. So they still own shares.
