Sorry if this is candid but to be honest not really but I must not understand the WA law. Personally we have tenements throughtout QLD and NT prospecting over our EPM is very illegal and happens constantly. We lose truck loads of above ground ore and mineral specimens annually. Im not sure but I heard you stumbled across it whilst jackerooing.

There is nothing more frustrating than seeing weekend warriors post expensive mineral specimens taken from our EPM illegally even if they found the pocket and then posting it on mindat.org .We pegged the ground and spent vast amounts of time and money doing.

So if someone came to me and said "hey mate ill tell you where to find this on your EPM if you give me a finders fee" id tell him to go jump and give him a stern warning and say no shit you found that on my tenement thats why I pegged it and spent a lot of time and money to peg explore and develop the tenement... tresspassing and pilfering an EPM in QLD is illegal and comes with fines attached if caught.

Just trying to get my gead around how a prospecting licenses can sit above or in tamdem with an exploration license. WA must seriously be backwards if that is the case or I may just have this story all wrong being very second hand.
