So, yes, A/Prof Brizard did receive an 'honorarium for speaking'. Not too nefarious - I believe he still likes and uses the product, and it isn't unusual to be paid a fee to attend a conference that you would have otherwise not bothered attending.

A/Prof Brizard was still presenting on Cardiocel as recently as March of this year;
