I wouldn't go so far as to call them genius, even calling them mouth breathing knuckle dragers is a compliment.
Its not hard, underwrite a rights issue and buy 25% at 0.2c, pump and dump at 0.5c, top up with a placement at 0.2c repeat.
Read the posts at during the months after the rights issue, there are quotes like "where is all this selling volume coming from?" if the market were fully informed I'm sure a lot of traders wouldn't have touched it. As it was a whole lot of ST guys got stuck and slowly dropped off and were picked off by GTT while they simply starved the news for 6 months.
Hudson and Co were rubbish, GTT are worse, shareholders deserve better treatment than this.
