I'm either missing something or everyone is focusing in on the wrong thing .....

1. Dispute is between FAR and COP ... who gives a flying shiskabab what WPL say!

2. Governments don't typically become involved in legal disputes between other parties .... having said that of course if the government did wade in and pulled FAR aside and said 'stop' then I sure hope Cath and team would do just that .... but I really don't think the Govt will have any interest on wading in unless things are delayed ... from their point of view Petrosen has 10% plus royalties taxes etc regardless of whom the other owners are so why risk being perceived as interfering etc that could potentially then be perceived as corruption .... I think the Govts attitude will be, 'its your dispute, act according to how you see fit, in the meantime we'll act as if everything is honky dory' .... ie unless they say 'stop' then the flying shiskabab as per 1. above seems to fit.

This whole saga is playing out exactly as I posted approximately 6 months ago (don't know how to go back thru my posts to find or I'd link it'. Brilliant play by Cath and team in my opinion, why rush in when someone else was picking up the tab to de-risk your asset. Of course anything can happen and usually does in litigation and I doubt very much if the final tab will be a measely $1 M price tag .... last time I had anything to do with solicitors they quoted me $12k and then over a period of 4 years charged me $200k and still didn't get a verdict in the end as they held their hands out for another $180k at which time I told them to bugger off ..... the prize in this case is slightly larger though ..... good luck all longs!
