IMHO I'll point to two things I believe have helped the share price to be where it is.
(a) We sprang out of the gates on high expectations and the vacuum in PR since has been sufficiently deafening to see some decide to just take some cash off the table. The momentum ceased and the ADHD investors didn't have the company PR machine continually feeding them messages of positivity. I do think the company could have done better in this regard.
(b) A lot of the messaging for folk who read HC (and I don't know how relevant to the wider market it is) has been about PB and 2020. Why buy and hold now when you've got sooooo loooong to wait before you need to? Use your money elsewhere! I made the point in a post yesterday that it's actually about NOW and AN. No doubt PB in a few years will add a lot of value, but it currently appears that the AN plant is going to be providing more (and maybe significantly more) copper than PB is currently scoped to. I'd rather get on this train early and I suspect those who leave it too late might get a little shock one day.
