My advice isn't just theory, it is my personal experience as a trader of 30 years.

I fall in the camp of one who had a huge success to start with.

Because of that it took me a long time to realise that it wasn't all skill that got me there.

Starting in a market that is bullish gives a sense of competence that is unwarranted. It is hard to lose.

Adverse times really test us all. It is a great time for seeing whether our ideas are robust.
