I think the Company has higher priorities concentrating on running a business than to spend effort trying to accommodate the irrational behaviour of retailers vulnerable to superstition.
Price gaps are always occurring. Whether they occur inter-day or intra-day, or within or between any other longer or shorter time period, is completely meaningless. If one worries you just choose a longer time frame. If you wish to create one choose shorter periods.
If price moves from 52c to 53c it creates a 1c gap. It doesn’t need to be filled.
The ‘price gap’ concept has no relationship to investing.
