Im certainly familiar with the OBV indicator. It has its good points and its failings. Like all indicators the further away they get from the raw price action and volume the more care one needs to take in the interpretation.
The first OBV swing in Nov/Dec 06 I agree supports the notion that stock was accumulated simply because volume preceded the price swing. Thats the basic assumption that Granville used when he formulated the OBV. The latest price swing doesnt seem to confirm ie the net volume is certainly there but the price hasnt risen over and above the last OBV swing. In the grand scheme of things it only a minor blip.. sometimes the market acts belatedly.
