If the same percentage of voters wants to get rid of their representative as that same percentage they won their seat by in the first place.
If the electorate and the rest of the country thinks their candidate is not doing their job then they should have the right to sack them under the same conditions as they were elected.
If that is not acceptable then neither is it acceptable that so many of the idiots we have in govt are put there with such a tiny percentage of the vote.

So every six months we would have a new election? How about we just give them at least 4 years to do something so that way we may have 30 month of actual governing before the inevitable 18 months of campaign mode kicks in.
What happened to actually having some long term views in this country?
