The pad we are using is not an exploration or drilling pad. this is a service pad built to support TAPS and its on going servicing, primarily pump 2. the pad is also used for support for servicing Dalton highway repairs.
We have been given permission to use it. looks like the permission was based upon:
''if you do not find anything clear it up on your way out. should you find anything then build your own pad as the existing pad is not big enough for being multipurpose''
