These make good looking pictures but could be misleading.
From one of Domum's post he indicated that the oil was leached using toluene. This may be better described as solvent extraction I believe, so the samples in the picture above could in fact be a mixture of toluene (the solvent) and oil.
Solvent extraction with toluene will recover any residual oil as well any live oil that may be present.
Have any estimates of oil saturation (percentage) been described?
