A close neighbour has lung cancer and not long to live. She is a former nurse, intelligent. I used to envy her slender frame but no more. It's so sad, She's a silhouette of her former self and I will fondly remember her 5pm phone calls when she was on her deck having a wine and a smoke. If you smoke, please give it up. Do what you must but cancer is not a pleasant way to die. No excuses, just give it up. Please.
