Shareholders were not forced to buy into the SPP to fund developments along with EIG.
There was never any guarantee that the share price would stay above that purchase price, and holders did get the opportunity to sell at a 9% profit if they so wished.
If you are holding for the long term, then you shouldn't be worried, although from memory I recall that you've shown a real desire to continually average down. That appears to be your strategy. The only other strategies available to us are to continue to hold if you believe in the future, or sell and put your capital to better use.
