The point is you can find companies with market cap that is 1/3 of revenue, and you can find companies with multi-billion dollar valuations and not a cent in revenue, so how does one come up with a magical 6 x revenue "rule"?
Go and compile a list of the top 30 ASX listed bio-tech, or med-tech companies by market cap and see how many meet the magical 6 x revenue rule.... it's baloney.
