Thanks “Ethixer”, as I am one of only two that you follow, I know where your wisdom is (lol)………….also, laying people’s concerns to rest is not what I am into. Traders are generally mature enough to make their own decisions based on whatever criteria they deem reasonable enough to make a trade – buy or sell. If people have concerns, then they need a trading plan or at least be well aware of the market in which they choose to take part. As I have mentioned previously, Fundamental Information is what I base my trades on. I am not a ‘technical’ trader.

Market dynamics have changed considerably over recent years. The basic market driver of ‘supply and demand’ still exists. However this driver is now subjected to a rapid increase in overt manipulation, different algorithmic based robotic trades and toyed with to an extent that traders are often left standing in disbelief. Regulators are at a loss to find decisive solutions, preferring to run for cover under the guise of “market making”. In my opinion, they have allowed markets to become a breeding ground for short term bias and distortion. This often leaves traders uncertain, bewildered and out of pocket. Trading commodities, foreign exchange and equities is not for the ill-informed of feint hearted punters with no plan or resolve. I can’t wait (not) for artificial intelligent trading systems to start screwing the markets over when they start plugging into the traders psyche.

Todays ‘noise’ was not unexpected. As I am in for the longer term and a significantly higher share price by many multiples of the current price, today simply represented a good buying opportunity.

Over time, the fundamental market driver of supply and demand will reign supreme over short term opportunistic market distortions. Remember, today’s trading is about big money holders positioning for the mid - longer profit haul. It’s your choice whether you stay connected and invested or exit this stock. I am not going to sell this life-changing opportunity short. It is simply too good and has a long way to go yet!.... IMO.

    “McHale” – you say -
“People who short or trade more often are more likely to lose money, that is the pure statistical nature of it, it is a high risk scenario and good luck to them”. – unless you are the self-anointed global master of market corruption JPMorgan who has the statistically impossible trading record of NEVER losing a single short or long trade in the silver futures market since taking over the Bear Stearn's short silver position in March 2008.
