options vs shares

Yes, we have had this discussion before but it seems to cause me some restless wonderings.

My options are being 'converted' and the time taken seems to be quite significant. but that is another story.

    Please explain this situation:

the options are 11c to buy and the shares are 22.5c, or after the option expercise amount some 1.5c discount.
why buy shares when you can buy the options send your check in and have hopeful next week fully paid shares.

Also the option turnover is very low to say the least with only 1m or so (also the fully paid turnover is low at 7m). i would have thought that given the discount, potential need for people to convert options they would sell some of their options to get the cash.

While all your charts are busy saying this and that, to me it seems that the current turnover represents some $1.5m but high number of trades in proportion which aint much money indicating a lot of small players making moves. had I seem 70m shares selling, then i would have my doubts. but at these levels it seems that say 100,000 shares or invest of 28,000 bought at the recent highs having dropped 6c or some $6,000 has caused so much fear causing many others to follow suit with their stop loss orders.

if the doom and gloom is based on this activity then there will a few who purchased at these prices being happy chappies. for those selling at 28c on expectation of getting in at lower prices, I would be interested if the dire predictions are resulting in lowered entry prices and result in those persons chasing the cents missing out big. And i have done that but learnt from my lessons.

If its a winner, then stay for the whole game. MPO to me is a winner, and yes my paper gains have shrunk a little but they will go up again.

energy waiting to be drilled and as they say they aint making anymore. Also the other benefit is the undergground coal to gas process being developed.

I can see MPO with extinguished fields using such a process, but more advanced than availble at present to extract even more value.

    patience, patience
