I met with Simon Wilkinson in Adelaide last year for an investor dinner I organised. I found him to be very passionate and excited about the propsects of Innate and an excellent promoter of the story. It's not enough to have a great story without a promoter and Simon was right up there with the best. On the detail of how you measure the success with specific reference to the analysis of percentage brain volume change, as assessed by magnetic resonance imaging, it was less clear to me. I came away with the impression it was an incredible high risk stock with a binary outcome and invested on the back of his passion and promoter skills making the decision to sell two months before the trail results in April. I truly believe he would be devastated by the trail results and it's a very sad outcome for so many participants - the MS sufferers, the company, the investors.
