There would be an issue if the seller/agent and the surveyor colluded to hold back the survey report from you - stating "no worries, everything is fine", whilst your bank (and wife) are pressuring you to settle otherwise finance widthrawn etc (e.g. you have sold your existing house and need to purchase a new place to stay).
The £600m is a fantasy. Its like suing a homeless person for $1 billion. You cant get that amount as the assets are not there. What you can get is the remaining cash QPP has (£60m?), and the possibility to go after the directors personal assets as they engaged in FRAUD.
