$200 per carat is far from a certainty, and I probably wouldn't even call it conservative. Although some earlier Gemfields auctions achieved as high as $689/ct, the most recent auction was at $61/ct. Mind you, even at $61/ct, they would generate about $12m of sales - not bad for a company capped under $25m.
If they can get $200/ct, I'll be laughing all the way to the bank!
