In the interest of balanced reporting i guess the downside is that currently the only "official" validation we have is the extension by Genentech for researching novel antibiotics, which seems to be nothing to do with what was indicated as our new direction of oncology and myc inhibition a short time ago.
A substantial extension payment of 2 million Should indicate more than just tyre kicking, but now another 6 months down that track-
original deal started in Dec 2014 and after handing over data at dec 2015 took a year to get to the extension in dec 2016. I guess this means 6 months is nothing as yet, but there is no deadline for renewal or extension so this deal could roll on for years with no update now. No deadline means no pressure for milestones or other payments while doing their work for them??
It would be awesome if we could officially pen at least one more collaboration some time soon just for some external validation that we are onto something, ideally either in oncology or cell penetration.
