Ok, so we have worked out that the suspension is not likely linked to any government decision or it would be in the news by now, so if anyone has the experience here, I would love to have something clarified.
If the issue is with the viability of the project, and they discovered this last Wednesday, why is it taking so long to verify it? I would have thought that once a scoping study is received, it would state (in simplistic terms) 'yes' or 'no', so why would it take a further week and a half to verify the results? Would the company not have to report the Scoping Study immediately and not be able to sit on it for a week and a half?
