Forget about the silks-- the church attempted to pay out many victims with a condition that they sign a declaration that they would not reveal the amount of damage. They underpaid big time and so cheated their victims not once but over and over again. I think those agreements can now be breached with confidence.....
It is the wealth of the church which needs to be used to assist victims and the silks are just part of the collateral damage which the church needs to pay....afterall, this abuse was repeated over and over again with the church turning a blind eye and simply moving priests on, even to an island, in one case, outside the jurisdiction of Australian police.....
