I cannot help but think that the numbers/support expressed by the CTP board is disingenuous.

there are 433.2m shares on issue.
MBL has 10m (apologies for wrong numbers in my last post)
so 423.2m shares were capable of voting.
so total shares voting in Scheme vote was 277.7m - so only 65.6% of shares held were actually voted.
of those, 186.7m shares voted FOR. ---So only 44.1% of shares able to be voted by shareholders, actually voted FOR the Scheme. The rest either voted NO, or didn't vote at all.

    There were 8,654 s/h at last A/R.
Surely will be far less at time of Scheme vote.
Maybe Scheme docs mentioned current number??
But only 2,062 individual shareholders actually bothered to vote.
of those 1,394 voted FOR which represented 67.6% of those who voted.
But 2,062 shareholders voting is frankly bugger-all imho.
    I guess that is apathy?
But to claim that there was overwhelming support of individual s/h for the Scheme is not correct.

AT the very least, the CTP Board should be qualifying their figures with the words "....of those who bothered to vote....."

I also suspect, that if s/h do not bother to vote in a SCheme that decides whether they get compulsorily bought out, then they certainly will not bother to vote in the upcoming GM to vote on the Spill!

So expect even fewer s/h to vote.

    cheers
