If its any consolation to you. A conversation I had a fund analyst last October was very much how you are thinking. his view was if its in demand, supply will meet it. He sees no value in his fund bringing representation of lithium into his portfolio. He has often been wrong and I feel he will again be.
he feels there will never be a shortage of lithium. I guess he doesn't research or understand the ramping up difficulties or that a great portion of the Li in the world is not accessible or feasible.
My understanding of analyst's comes down to how you can spell it
