Looks like we are in submarine mode - hey Rag's is that 3.50 call a while back still valid old mate?

But I am not as kind as Bernard and others - I don’t put it all down to pre production lulls - I reckon management have a lot to account for - we need info on the spin offs quick smart and in my mind a shortish cut off date- coz at present we are rudderless.

Moreover, I firmly believe management MUST address the PR issue. More than 6 months ago now Richard told me that the board conceded the need to do better on the PR front. He in fact said he was in discussions with several companies with view to retaining consultants yet six months later – none have been retained! And Gordon acknowledges at the AGM that they have dropped the ball PR wise --- Will we go to the next meeting and have to ask the same damned questions again and blow even bigger raspberries.

You have acknowledged a problem SO FIX IT!

From where I sit it is a very poor show to acknowledge the need to do something better and acknowledge the means of fixing it i.e.retain consultants or a company to do it for you because you don’t have the requisite skills and even half a year later still not done it.

Now, before everyone rises to defend the sacred cow - my rationale is quite simple - share prices rise when demand is greater than supply and this usually comes about when the market feels enthusiasm for a company – that enthusiasm can be generated thru any number of mechanisms - from good news or even the perception that good news is on the way or the simple perception that the company is a goer.

That enthusiasm can be based on substance or can also be plain baseless hype -- doesn’t really matter – the effect is the same – whether based on hype or substance --- the share price rises! – And then, if the hype is not followed thru with substance ....the price falls – but the same happens even if (such as in our case) the rise is based on substance – when news dries up – buyer enthusiasm wanes and so does the price and those who might become long term holders instead bail to protect their relatively small profit - those of us with more substantial profits hold because the tax bill will be nasty.

I know we can expect ups and downs in the share price – that’s the way it is – but if effective PR – hype can see the share price of a market dog rocket even without substance, (notice I didn’t say good PR – coz effective PR is not always good or ethical PR) then surely, effective (good) PR can help maintain market enthusiasm towards a company whose price rose on news of material substance – especialy if it has a positive future just around the corner.

I’m not saying keep pumping it with PR to keep the price going unrealistically higher – nor am I suggesting it should be used to keep it in the usual over shoot area beyond fair value that they tend to shoot to – but rather to help maintain enthusiasm in an effort to help keep us in the fair value area – thus we build a firmer, tighter share holder base of investors who don’t want to cop the tax bill when they sell so instead use the equity in cmr holding to leverage trading plays in unsustainable hyped stocks - so they can buy more CMR for the divvies LOL ....seem unreasonable to me.

Maybe the board would pay more attention to the share price if we only paid them cash and they had to got to the market to buy the stock themselves – just like the rest of us have to
