Avz had news and a pop to retrace.
Pls traded at 39.5-40.5 nearly all day then last 30mins 38.5 and closing auction 38c. So up all day nearly. Broader market was down quite a bit all day then a heap come the arvo. No correlation.
Yes, perhaps some sophs selling their 35c shares, but I'm voting for shorts looking to contain a run and knocking it down at the close.
