Tend to agree with you re why sell if you are in the money. Re-inforces there will be little sales pressure this week but next week yes.....

But one technical question - and given I am a pommy who has recently entered the Aussie stock market - if you sell shares before 30.6 and your chess holdings don't update until after the year end, which counts for CGT purposes - the date of sale or the date at which shares actually change hands.....
