Why launch the 3D product on the USA national day? I know that the action for this product is in North America. I presume that they are using it at the world famous Toronto Childrens Hospital. At least its business as usual there.
The 3D product is a conduit for around the corner vascular repair which is new and an advance. The company have stated that they hope to have 10 vascular products on the market by 2020. I just hope that they can crack the complete replacement for coronary artery bypass i.e. to have on the shelf world wide in the developed world a product to use at a moments notice for a substitute coronary artery. This would be truly mind blowing.
With the progress with the unexpected business of the TAVR I would hope that the company would do even a modest deal re the vaccine business. Outsource it for say $10m with future royalties hoped for in years to come. At least we would not bleed $2.5m per annum and could expect some future blue sky. The TAVR is the new exciting prospect to quickly replace the vaccine hope.
