Most of the above is true, and hearing you on the topic of share price volume evaluation, I've seen it in action a few times now but have also seen sell offs for no apparent reason at all due to differing tactics, eg. Sell off prior to news, taking smaller profit from the buildup alone to avoid the risk, but that is what risk/reward ratio is all about. I still have a feeling management knew of the expected poor results which is probably why they delayed the announcement hoping to have an answer in time for the Cobalt to soften the blow, and I wonder how long they have known the results for, it did seem to be delayed which also increases the chance of a leak & can give those in the know the chance to sell. I've had a couple of explorers crash, some them have kept the market informed along the way to enable investors to assess the risk based on up to date information, others don't which appears on the outside to be dodgy (I'm still holding one similar which I intend to get rid off asap). I've also invested in a company that I am very happy with, they are also high risk but are very forthcoming with information as it comes to hand although are maybe a little over the top with their continued announcements but this is preferable to me rather than holding back information, their share price does fluctuate based on their announcements, if they do fail I will still be more than happy with the company based on their willingness to keep us informed.
At the end of the day I blame myself for not selling out a month back when my gut feeling was telling me to, afterall a gut feeling comes from the subconscious mind assessing known, probable or previously experienced parameters and determining all possible outcomes to minimise the chance of being burned. True that good management should maximise share holder return/profit which is what I believe RMX more than likely were trying to do, but I'd be pretty sure it's us retail investors that cop the worse of it. As for me, my risk was relatively low as had only invested a small amount and I do feel for those who have put perhaps too much into such a high risk prospect. No one likes or wants to lose money but it has been said many times not to invest any more than one can afford to lose, it blows me away just how many people borrow to invest in these things, and really blows me away that someone would have the cash to invest $1M, wondering how many millions they have left or if gone bust themselves.

It did provide one hell of an adrenaline rush though and the learning curve does give it all some benefit, and as has been said here previously, it certainly does make one feel alive.
