Ahhhhhh I see, I thought I was just imagining tha, but it now makes sense if you are a lefty. I am a part lefty and part righty.
I surf left footed but play guitar right handed. When I first joined the army a long long time ago I shot left handed but they made me shoot right handed. I use to use a fork with my right hand when a child but my parents made me eat right handed.
Interesting to note all the best surfers are left footed.

I can tell you that no matter which way the angle on the Fender headstock goes the angle is there for a reason.
Apparently it gives a much straighter pull on the strings as they pass through the nut. This supposedly gives an easier less stressful action. Whether that actually works or not I dont really know but it makes sense to me.
