- Negative - need to cut costs as outlook is soft
- several downgrades on earnings may support this view
- Positive - becoming diligent towards costs
- interim CEO is the CFO, hence has had his opinion on costs that were unnecessary. has taken the opportunity to act on them
- no trading update with the financial year closed would support this view
