The last breakout was never sending the SP into space to break the pattern because again not enough volume. However buyers were pricing in the launch which pulled the SP higher. Then the pros sold the news I guess.. That's when I saw the support line hit on the dump and got interested.
My entry is not ideal but not terrible because ideally you want to buy the break when it comes on volume.. keeping in mind again that the vertical height of the triangle is what your price target should be on top of R3. You should never chase runners.. but.. if it goes on volume and you know where your target price is well.. then you can more confidently roll your dice on a trade or adding to your position regardless if there's a couple of pullbacks on the way..
