According to the announcement from 26/6/17..........

"The stimulation was executed precisely as per plan with over one million lbs of proppant placed into the formation. A little patience is now required as we give the rocks time to show us what they can deliver.”

We all know that proppant is the sand that's injected in the fracking process to hold open the fractures created from the explosive charges and according to what I've read, approx. 10% of stim fluid is proppant. So if the above statement that says over 1M lbs of "proppant" was placed into the shale formation is true, then

1,000,000 lbs of proppant = 10% of total stimulation/fracking fluid injected
therefore, total amount of stim fluid = 1,000,000 x 10 = 10,000,000 lbs
10,000,000 lbs divided by 2.2 = 4,545,454 L
4,545,454 L divided by 159 = 28,587 bbl
28,587 bbl x 15% (of total stim fluid recovered as of last announcement) = 4,288 bbl
4,288 bbl divided by 14 days (time elapsed from commencement of flowback) = 306 bbl/day
Obviously an allowance needs to be made for specific gravity/viscosity between water or stim fluid and oil/hydrocarbons but I've heard the oild will flow faster than the stim fluid. Surely our flowback rate can't be this high. Have I made a mistake somewhere? Apologies if you've already explained this.

On another note. Apparently an average of 8000 tonnes of sand/proppant is normally injected into most shale play wells these days which equates to 17,600,000 lbs, which is obviously 17.6 x the amount we've injected. Does this sound right?
