anvil finally cleared in court , page-4

KKR I re-iterate my post of 12/12/06

Wonder if Feeney and Meeran will finally let go when Anvil and the ex employees are absolved of any wrong doing by the court. I think Feeney would lose too much face if she didn’t after the RAID circular calling on Kabila to “demonstrate his willingness to defend the rule of law in the DRC”

Would not surprise if BT sprung up with some action of his own (perhaps against RAID and others) it was discussed in a release dated August 23rd 2005 “Anvil is reviewing possible defamation proceedings against organizations in the DRC, Australia and UK arising from the unfounded allegations.”. Obviously any successful settlement would be put back into local community development.

Now that would be a sting in the tail for the likes of Feeney…
