Wow 90! well that means you can probably indulge in the odd cigarette - I have another friend - woman - who can just have one smoke in a celebratory way and then forget about it for a month - I find that amazing.

I lost a lot of money in the stockmarket in 2008 - traumatic experience, so now I just sit and wait on the odd cheap stock with a small holding. Last time it helped with costs going overseas in 2015.
I find this forum useful even for daily news and views on it, even though I don't share some of the 'alternative views' here - know thy enemy! Just joking - luckily politics in Australia is still fairly benign.
I believe cancer has always been around, but as you say, people didn't live long enough, but also the environment was so much cleaner, unless you worked in the coalmines or London's inner-city slums (and many other cities'). Apparently we all carry cancer cells, and they are excreted in the normal way, only when they get activated they strike. I kind of believe in 'karma' what will be, will be.
