Hi all,
I asked Bob a few questions regarding the change over and this is what I got back, its only fair that I share it with you all.
The new contract will have better incentives to achieve the monthly agreed KPIs - metres of development advance, tonnes hauled, and stope drilling metres. No performance - low pay. Outstanding performance - better pay. In other words, while the old contract had a high fixed cost component, the new contract will have a higher variable cost component. This should lead to a better maintained fleet, with less downtime. Maintenance was a problem before. I don't expect many material changes in manning nor the equipment count.
Its only up from here.
