The standard Christian God cannot exist, because an all-powerful and all-loving God would not allow so much suffering.
Maybe an all-loving, but not all-powerful God exists, but we will never know. Our capacity to know and understand is limited, and something as big as God would be beyond our capacity to know and understand. We might experience part of such a God, but we would never know if it was God, or a minor sub-god, or even the devil pretending to be God.
