    About the yuan wars, that is all electoral talk. It suited the yanks to have a strong $ policy for many yrs, now they really have it and they are counting the costs, lost jobs. And you know, I do not think they really care, not really.
    China will not bend on the yuan.
    Now think about all those USDs owned by Asians. Are they doing any good for their countries? It would be better if they brought them home and spent them wisely to boost the economies of their countries and raise living standards instead of propping up the standard of living of Americans. And why do they have them? Why does Australia not have them? Could it be they are scared of loosing all their capital so they keep it in the reserve currency?

    I think money is made round to go round.

    I have not answered all your points. I don't have time for a detailed reply.
