One observation/theory. I think the downloads going to zero on priori data is real and I would suggest that it's coz the daily marketing spend has been stopped. I have done a bit of work with online marketing before and once established its a flick of switch situation. So if ads aren't appearing in front of people as they surf the net then downloads will stop.
Why stop the online marketing? Don't know, but if I had to guess I would say it's because Uni goes back next week and they are about to start using the Student Edge relationship to push the VPN that way. I'm assuming that would be MUCH cheaper marketing and as we know it's a target market of 900k members. The VPN is already on the SE website, but there was mention in the Ann about emailing members with promotions etc. SE don't do much during the Uni holidays, so it makes sense that this would start soon. All IMO
