I never said Dy was used in wind turbines. Dy is only ever mentioned in the Ford quote.
The growth is for electric motors, not specifically PM motors. There are other viable alternatives already out there. The SRM is another type where a lot of progress has been made in the last few years. And even the ICE is fighting back with Mazda's new 3 series out next year claiming 3.3ltr/100km (better than the Prius) and no catalytic converters.
I only posted because of total misrepresentation of the facts about Lynas' debt. My previous post was in reply to goofy's request.
Bikemad, I didn't make any recommendations. But demand destruction is what brought the SP down from $2.70. Despite so many posters saying that there were no substitutes for REE. Period. Impossible.
