I just looked back on the U spin off announcement (June 5th) and it says that the record date is "currently intended to be 10 July 2007".

That could mean that a latter date may be used as the record date, which obviously would permit further time to aquire GDN shares and still be able to participate in the float. I would think that they will confirm the record date at the same time they announce the share float price for the prospectus.

To me that would make sense, but then again this is GDN......lol

Any other thoughts?
