THX still gets the $1.5m, but it has lost the explorer and miner that probably had the best chance of finding something good. Now it has someone far less capable and in all likelihood someone of far less financial means to find minable ore.
It's a big TD from me!
I would be staggered to learn that the BoD was not very unhappy about this turn of events.
