@wabbit you say this well had high prospects (if you call 50/50 high) and now it is limited?
Can you please explain to us why these prospects are now "limited"?
The process being followed by the JV at this stage is not only standard practice for this type of play but very common, if it wasnt the company would be sitting back thinking "WTF do we do now?" It has not only been planned for but expected.
This is what people cant get their head around. If anyone thought this well was just going to start pissing oil out of the ground like the Beverley Hillbillys it just goes to show the lack of knowledge about the industry and shouldn't be invested in the stock.
I work in the CSG industry and I'm not trying to compare it to oil or this HRZ play in anyway but a note on pressure and the weight of water/frac fluids. Our wells only range from 500' to 2500' but mostly in the 1000-1500' range with high water content in most and almost none of these wells flow naturally with most having to be de-watered through mechanical means so how the hell anyone can expect this well to push an 11000' column of water to surface straight away has me buggered.
