I rang the company yesterday, and they announced that an imminent announcement would clearly articulate why no announcement has yet been forthcoming, and that the announcement would dispel any false announcement rumours, and on the contrary would illustrate that any future announcements would clearly be within the guidelines of the ASX's announcement policy.

When asked about the drilling results, I can actually quote an AEX insider - "no announcement can be made prior to an announcement stating that an announcement is about to be released in accordance with ASX announcement protocol, and if Acclaim were to announce the date of said announcement, it would simply counter the reasons for an announcement about the announcement, and why would we do that?"
