MI I actually think the polls could be turned around if Abbott disappeared. Sure not every policy change is popular with everyone but then it never is - people have varied ideas of what is best and nobody is right necessarily. I personally think much rhetoric on this forum is way overstated and a figment of imaginations.

So I will return a question " What benefit to the country would be served by electing Shorten? And just how would it repair/help the Liberal party?" . This I believe will happen if Abbott keeps causing discontent and he always said disharmony is death. He knows only to well what he is doing.

Shorten as PM is just a bad thought. I certainly do not respect him in the least and prefer to see the liberal party internally sort things than see Abbott deliberately smashing things PUBLICLY every day without a care about the outcome and he is being used by dopes like Jones and Bolt etc for their ratings. His carping about every single minor thing just proves he lies non stop and is untrustworthy - he said he would no do it but that was just another lie. I don't like or respect anyone who cannot keep their word, regardless of why they claim they do it. When you give your word - stick to it!

I have always said it would be ideal if the parliament had no parties and everyone voted independently for what they thought was right but that is just dreaming and can never happen. I know for sure I could never be a politician because I would never in a million years vote along party lines just because they told me to. It just makes them a dishonest stooge.
