Marc, valid observations, as I don't think AEX holders should be going to bed each night without rubbing Buddha's belly, praying the rosary and bowing toward Mecca (this is my nightly ritual anyway).
That said, I still think management is the worst part of AEX and that DD has far more going for it than dozens and dozens of U hopefuls... They have a pretty crappy U deposit - lets face it - but there will be something mineable, no doubt. And at shallow levels it will be dug up at some point, because our new man from Brinkley has channels into SA government.
I can certainly see your argument - indeed, it is a concern to me also. But, I can't see the logic in a Brinkley CEO leaving SA operations to join AEX? Huh, WTF? What they need him to supervise a drill rig in Guinea....doubt it....he has a family in J'burg...he dont wanna travel around Guinea at this stage...he's gotta be here to dig up U - surely?? The greatest asset our new CEO brings is his ability to secure offtake agreements in the furure for AEX...
I will hold for now...
