I'm perplexed by the very first word if the article! The writer just threw in "ailing" without any reasoning or explanation. Readers of my relatively few posts will know that I'm very critical of the company's strategic direction and highly negative in my longer term view of the company's rate of return. But this is gratuitous rhetoric more worthy of some rag like The Herald Sun. In what way is Vocus ailing?
It's profitable.
It's cash-flow positive.
It has no debt pressure.
I'm disgusted by the descent to the use of value-laden, hack-journalism terms in what is supposed to be an objective, analytical publication. May the great frog help us when the AFR starts beating up drama out of nothing!
