HOLLY//,
This is a VERY simplified version.. and NOT accurate but more to provide a basic idea.
Imagine a hill that is very wide but has lots of uranium.
Over millions of years erosion wears these hills away, the dirt and uranium will run off in creeks, rivers etc.
Also rain could wash some out of the hills.
Some of this dirt and uranium will come to rest in valleys, old water courses, basins and the like; more could wash for long distances considering we would be talking many thousands of years ago.
Over millions of years this could be millions of tonnes washed away.
In this example the 'Hill' would be the 'Source' rock, and wherever the washed up stuff landed would be the 'destination'.
In relation to ARU and NUP.
(all this is yet to be proven, but I reckon it could be likely)
NUP owns the 'Hill' (Ranges), ARU has some of the hill and some of the 'wash' off at Nolans.
It is possible that there is still a lot of uranium in the 'Hill' and NUP also has ground around the hill.
Arguably, these ranges could be the original host to the uranium from Olympic Dam (wont this fire up a few!) as most of the eroded and washed off uranium could have ended up in the Great Australian Bight.
In my view it is highly likely that this is the host for Napperby (DYL) and also the EME Joint Venture.
As I stated at the start, this is a very simplified version and none of us know for a fact if the Ranges are indeed the host (although good results at Nolans is a pointer in the right direction).
The great benefits for Arafura holders are:
- most of us have shares in NUP directly but also own 10% via ARU.
- Arafura has rights to minerals outside of uranium for much of it, so NUP homework could also provide other benefits for us (they may find Nolans 2).
